For 22 years, Link Wilson has been involved with market rate housing projects that are attractive and noble in their appearance. The understanding of wood frame technology is a necessity in this type of building where every square inch of efficiency is necessary for a project to be affordable to a developer and yet meet the needs of the latest demographic who inhabit these residences. Wilson has deep roots working with both the department of Housing and Urban Development and the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. But the story does not end there; the development of multi-family housing is very difficult in the entitlement phase where the project must pass through neighborhood meetings, planning and city councils who are intimidated by angry neighbors who may be afraid of change. Kaas Wilson has great experience working with neighborhoods to achieve buy in to a new project in the neighborhood.
