PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:

We are currently seeking project manager to join our team. Candidate should have a completed degree in architecture, proficiency using Revit, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability coordinate and manage a project team. The ideal candidate would be described as creative, detail-oriented, professional, self-motivated, personable, articulate, good sense of humor, and fun.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design, delivery, and coordination of multiple projects simultaneously through all phases of the projects
  • Manage workloads to meet project requirements and maximize staff utilization
  • Coordinate all team efforts, both administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned project
  • Serve as primary client liaison
  • Meet with clients, developing and producing projects through each phase of the work
  • Coordinate budgets, schedule, scope of work to meet client’s expectations
  • Effectively coordinate with all consultants
  • Ensure projects meet established billing schedules
  • Obtain consultant fees and proposals
  • Work with marketing to prepare proposals and interview strategies
  • Actively work with leadership to pursue both new projects and expand the scope of existing projects
  • Schedule quality control reviews and coordinate all project documentation
  • Mentor emerging professionals

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as professional in an architectural firm
  • Bachelors’ Degree (BA, BDA, or BS) in Architecture, B.Arch, or M.Arch completed
  • Licensure preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Revit and some knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other modeling software programs
  • Competence in Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent team management skills
  • -Some local and regional travel may be required
  • Multi-family housing experience preferred
