The challenge was to rebuild the central hub of one of the largest nursing home campuses in the state without losing a single care bed during the process.

Along with a team of specialists including a historical consultant, various engineers, and a cost consultant, we created a feasible construction plan and schedule while taking into account site constraints including historic preservation restrictions, building height restrictions due to proximity to the airport, and immovable boundaries such as the Mississippi River and Minnehaha Creek, which do not allow for growth.

Presented to the governor and state legislature, our successful master plan was a major determining factor in the awarding of a 50 million dollar grant with matching federal funding.
