Link is widely known in the senior housing industry, having spent the last 26 years focused on every type of senior housing from skilled nursing facilities to assisted living and memory care to senior co-ops and apartments. He has managed projects in more than 20 states. According to the Washington Post, Link has been involved in the planning and design of more for-sale senior cooperatives than any other architect in the country. Link has published and spoken widely on the subject of senior housing of all types, in magazines and newspapers and at housing symposiums across the country. He is frequently sought by both non-profit and for-profit developers for his expertise on senior housing of the present and for the future.
Link has led the design and construction of skilled nursing facilities such as Redeemer Residence, Jenkins Methodist Home, and Mankato House. He has the reputation for managing large, complex projects and easily bridging the gap between owners’ needs and contractors’ practical applications in the field, successfully bringing projects in on time and on budget. His assisted living and memory care experience includes design and construction management of countless facilities in Michigan, Iowa, and Minnesota.
