The Grain Belt redevelopment will incorporate open space and neighborhood views.

Kaas Wilson Architects and Everwood Development won a city-wide competition to redevelop the Grain Belt brewery site in the historic Sheridan neighborhood of northeast Minneapolis.

Our design captures classic view corridors and incorporates cutting-edge rental housing. In addition, a historic brewery office building will be renovated, and archaeological ruins will be left as a pocket park within the framework of the site.

The development team is working with the neighborhood to refine the design prior to submission to HUD for financing.

The recent remodel of the first floor south wing of Vernon Terrace Senior Living has created a full-service memory care community called The Willows. It is a 16-apartment mix of studios and one bedroom apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes. Community amenities such as the dining room, tv lounge, activities kitchen, family lounge, crafts studio, and an outdoor garden were added to create a home-like atmosphere within the community.

Monday, August 22, 2011 saw the groundbreaking ceremony for Wooddale Pointe. Work is underway to excavate and prepare the ground for footings and foundations on this incredible urban CCRC project in Saint Louis Park!
